Vicki Blakeman, an experienced cook and baker, has had a diverse career which demonstrates her extensive abilities as a manager, a leader, and a person with deep dedication to the community . Originally from Wyoming, Vicki came from a family with a strong tradition of baking. She spent her childhood baking alongside her mother, developing her fondness for baking.
Vicki left Wyoming to attend Montana State University. While in college she ran the Bogart public swimming pool. After moving to Livingston in the early 90’s she and her sister ran a small manufacturing business on Main Street. Viki soon became interested in local politics and served on the Livingston City Commission for 10 years, four of which she acted as the Commission Chairman. Next, her love of animals and desire to be of service led her to become the Executive Director of the Stafford Animal Shelter for many years.
Now she has come full circle and has returned to both the kitchen and her love of baking. She believes there is nothing more worthwhile and satisfying than feeding people good tasting, healthy food. Not to mention, our volunteers will testify Vicki makes a mean chocolate chip cookie!
